Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 15, 2012 4:13 pm Hi all, we about to start building a new home and to date I thought I was going along pretty nicely however I have come to a grinding hault on the choice of colour for the window frames. The roof will be Shale Grey with Woodland Grey gutters and fascia, the garage door is Deco Wood Casuarina and the render colour will be Sense (Haymes). Illusion Entrance door XIL26 stained to match the garage door. This is about all I can think of to help with some idea's. I am leaning toward Shale Grey but just dont want it to look to light. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!! Re: Window Frames 2May 15, 2012 7:24 pm Hav eused shale gray and surf mist as render colurs to great effect. Dont overthink it, choose one and have a glass of red. Satisfied the decisions are done. @builderforlife Building inspector and passionate about construction When you need an expert to take a look. For your reference Performance Labels: Window assemblies in housing, except timber windows, must be labelled so the label can be seen when it is in situ. For timber… 6 7736 That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17895 |
