Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Kimmy & Fin's Jackson's View Build - 'Sundance' by Hoton 41May 13, 2013 7:12 pm Hey Stellabella, still no good news. We keep having to use money out of our savings to scare by every week - out of the $25,000 we had saved up, we only have $5,500 left as of this week. The estate manager that we were waiting on an answer from quit a couple of months ago and I have been in contact with her once to ask what the go was as the last manager said that the developer were going to give us an extra 18 months to try and get the loan and they wouldn't title the block until then - but last time I spoke to the new chick was well over a month and a half ago and we haven't heard back (and I have been flat out so keep forgetting to ring myself lol) but at this stage it's looking like its all going to go down the crapper =\ not looking forward to the day when we lose our $8,500 deposit!! But thanks for keeping us in mind =) Re: Kimmy & Fin's Jackson's View Build - 'Sundance' by Hoton 43Feb 11, 2014 9:53 pm Just a quick update for anyone still interested. We got the letter in the mail yesterday letting us know that the land will be titled soon. So we need to go to our solicitor ASAP to terminate the contract. Hoping that doesn't cost us too much as we can barely scrape $100 together at the moment! If hubby was still working away I would have been stoked to get that letter =( Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17198 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10261 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9440 |
