Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 10, 2012 1:16 pm Hi, I am building a new home, now work finished brick work .mostly next week lock up. My concern is, builder made front elevation not as per drawing .In the front elevation drawing there is timber cladding above the windows until ceiling in the front outside wall. now finished the brick work on front wall there is only a brick gap between window and wall (as per drawing 300mm gap ) so there no place to put timber cladding. What i can do at this stage? please advise me .can i asking a compensation ? or asking to change the height of the wall (too difficult). If builder not agree with anything, can i going for a dispute? what is the procedure?. Thanks, Tom Re: Built not as per drawing 4May 10, 2012 2:38 pm Speak to your supervisor immediately.
