A contour survey might be the other thing of interested in case there is any slope on your block. This - if there is a noticeable slope on your block this will be very useful when shopping around with builders. Ours was $454 + GST The only other thing that we obtained was an identification survey - as the original subdivision of our block occurred in the 1950's we wanted to make sure that the existing boundaries hadn't been encroached upon.
