However every now and then there is a real beauty. In this case my client is doing everything right( getting stage inspections) and still getting a bad result. One corner of the house used to ocassionally swim in water for about 1.5 years! Also, have the piers been inspected by the PCA? Wondering what do their "records" show ... The seriousness of the situation is that instead of four piers there are three, therefore there is only 75% of the capacity to support two storey home. Flooding definitely is not good for the foundation material and is clearly against engineering specification. We will see what the builder and the building surveyor come up with.
