What do people think about white render or white bagging on the exterior?

I like the look, especially with bluestone features and aluminium/ clear anodized windows. I am unsure about it for practical reasons such as dirt showing, glare off the house etc

We are thinking Porter's Paint in 'piraeus'.

Should definitely be far cooler than the house we are building. There is a very modern white rendered house opposite me which looks fantastic - it has massive windows and a flat roof.

Personally, I think white render looks better than bagging. Just remember that rendering or bagging will need to be repaint. How often will depend on the quality of the paint and probably harshness of the climate.

Oz - The BLD display home in Harrison is white and looks fantastic.
I originally wanted bagged, but I think you might be right about white looking better on render...so it may be one or the other.

I've lived in two brand new white houses. White shows up everything, every bit of dirt. Don't use a sprinkler near the house too much if you have a white house or the house will end up with brown streaks.

I love white render with silver frames, there is homes near beach like that here, so gorgeous clean and modern looking

hubby thinks its too glary for neighbours in some situations
