Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Colorbond Fencing- cost???? 21Nov 02, 2013 11:25 pm Is the price still valid? It that is the valid price, is the fence materials made in Aus that is durable for the Aus weather? Re: Colorbond Fencing- cost???? 22Nov 04, 2013 8:20 am animal Anyone know how it compares to cost of hardwood paling fence? Going to jump in here and say it's not just about the compareable costs. Wooden fences tend to warp, rot and age. Obvious hard wood( jarrah) lasts a lot longer and would be very exxy ( do they even do fences in jarrah anymore or is there another hardwood used?) May of the timber fences you see now are done with pine. They might last 7-10 years if you are lucky before starting to look rough and warp and perhaps another 5 before they need replacing. Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10208 Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2879 You should pressure clean your roof first and make sure the paint you buy also is anti mould. 4 18564 |
