Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 19, 2012 10:35 am Hi We have decided to build our first home and are about 6 weeks away from starting (fingers crossed). Need some advice on the flooring. We are doing a charcoal floor tile throughout. I am toying with the idea of doing a contrasting one in a lighter shade in the bathroom, WC, Laundry and Ensuite to define those areas from the living area. What are your thoughts on this? Most colour schemes we like for the bathroom so far have white walls but darker tiles on the floor, which means it would all blend together...
