The fixing and completion stages can take as much, if not more time than the structural works required for reaching lockup, especially if some work needs to be fixed/re-done (as is usually the case in a build). It's a little misleading as you see the physical form of the house itself at lock up and think that most of the work has been done, when in fact 50-60% of the work on your home (if not a bit more) happens after lock up. Some people apparently have nothing better to do than comment on other people's sigs. I've gone for pre-fab walls.
