We are waiting for our glass though which is now coming from a different Company. Your place is looking great. Re: Potupay Build-We begin again with Zen 164Sep 22, 2012 10:20 am Danielle who has been fantastic has finally given us a handover date & though it will be 29weeks from frame to finish we are relieved our building journey has a destination She has got to add counsellor to her job title She helped put our minds at ease We are sooo worried that the same thing is going to happen to us again especially when progress is slow Can't wait to get the keys & until we do there is still that worry of Cosmo's demise happening all over again....... Re: Potupay Build-We begin again with Zen 165Sep 22, 2012 10:57 am 29weeks ain't too bad, particularly with some rain delays added in, willcres who started in February with wisdom doesn't move in till October either, with something like 50rain days, so look on the positive, believe me I know, what your feeling, just trying to make you feel better about things Your hous eis gorgeous and will be worth the wait. I have not even spoken to Danielle as we have always dealt with Andrew and Mat but from what I have heard, she is an asset to the company as is Matt P the new SS. Re: Potupay Build-We begin again with Zen 166Sep 24, 2012 1:15 am Potupay - this is your thread, you can vent any time you want. Plus you more than any of us are justified in feeling anxious after what you went through with Cosmo. Just reading the Cosmo and Westminster (who we almost signed with) threads made my stomach drop each time something was delayed on our job. Zen seem to whip into a frenzy the last few weeks. 29 weeks sounds excellent, rain days included. Choco - welcome to the Zen family! Please drop in to the Zen thread too so we can follow your progress on there. Sorry for not posting sooner but it really is stressful.... Tiling done except bits of grouting here & there Kitchen, laundry, vanities & ensure shower installed... Oh we were told to put our fridge & freezer in garage ready to be built into kitchen & visited this afternoon & they were STOLEN!!!! What else can go wrong - what is wrong with people Re: Potupay Build-We begin again with Zen 169Oct 17, 2012 10:52 am OMG - are you serious?????????? That is bad bad bad. So sorry to hear this, and you guys just don't deserve that after what you have been through. Was the garage not locked or something? Why did the fridge and freezer need to be built in and not just installed as per usual. The Zen boys were just saying the other day that you (well, I am pretty sure they were talking about you - building in P*** and transferred from Cosmo) were about to have hand-over.... We have our fridge & freezer built behind the kitchen cabinetry.... We both feel sick - I don't understand how people can disrespect others' property All we can think is forward otherwise I might just go nuttos ...... Re: Potupay Build-We begin again with Zen 173Oct 17, 2012 1:55 pm Yes, our handover date is 2nd Nov, so one week after you. It seems impossible to me but will be interesting to see how they go with yours. Have you got taps etc yet & plugs, light fittings? I don't know how they will manage with a bit over a week to go - there seems to be a lot to do... No taps - I think they will put last just in case it gets stolen All downlights are installed though Re: Potupay Build-We begin again with Zen 175Oct 18, 2012 6:49 am Potupay I don't know how they will manage with a bit over a week to go - there seems to be a lot to do... If you ever wrote the serial number you could report it to the manufacturer so it can't be registered for warranty. Check the eBay or gumtree Zen has 5 hand over jobs on the date 26/Sep and they must be very very busy. I hope Zen meet the deadline. My husband and I are affected by the recent Procorp collapse and am wondering how did you go with getting a new builder and did your tender differ much from your original etc? I'm sorry for all the questions but it's safe to say I'm scared stupid about how this will be for us financially. Thankyou in advance. It seems to be happening a lot at the moment - Westminster, Cosmo then Rightbuild. I wasn't aware of Procorp. What stage of the build are you at? I hope you get some good luck soon.
