Anyway, I'm wondering how common it is to buy land large enough to allow for installation of a pool a few years after the house has been built? Also, are there special council regulations you need to check to make sure you're allowed to install a pool on the land in question? If anyone has been in this situation, how much land space have you dedicated to a future pool? (if designing a new house include a roller door at rear of garage if side access not possible) Easements such as sewer or storm water will affect pool location, in regards to size well that is dependent on what sort of pool your after.
