Re: Prestart booked :)) 3Apr 12, 2012 4:39 pm Try and fail more than likely at least by a little anyway. You just keep telling yourself "well the cost of that upgrade isn't too much really - we can probably fit it in" or "a few hundred bucks isn't much to add" for an upgrade to a standard item. Has anybody really ever managed to stay within the "budget" budget they had in mind when they did their pre-pre-selection under the harsh glare of the pre-selection showroom lights - I know we had a "hard" figure that we wouldn't go over and kinda failed pretty dismally in the end... Good luck with your selections garden - it's probably both the must fun and most teeth-grinding part of the experience really as your emotions fight a constant battle with your brain but we enjoyed it. Just my luck that everything I like is 3 times the price as the standard, my hubby keeps telling me I have expensive taste I guess the trick is to decide what is more important to you and choose 1 or 2 items to splurge on and cut back on the things that are not as important to you. Re: Prestart booked :)) 6Apr 18, 2012 11:42 am well, i thought after weeks of hunting i had my colours sorted, then made the mistake of taking out the samples to look at them again, and bugger me i have changed my mind...... so back to the shop for another look.... Re: Prestart booked :)) 7Apr 18, 2012 1:55 pm I have done the same thing, I have had my colours sorted for weeks but now we are about to start I am panicing about the brick colour, because the sample I had sent to me looks completely different to the wall at the display centre. Hi Everyone, wondering if anyone has done a prestart lately with summit homes in WA and what kind of costs were associated with adding gpo's and downlights? we are also… 0 3867 |
