Re: “Project Dream Home” – Cammeray @ Middleton Grange 75Aug 14, 2013 11:18 am Thanks Rocky. We should have it stained on the weekend. Took RH long enough to sort out. They did the under balcony in the spotted gum and completely missed the section above the front door. Ummm.... this was on my plans!! Our door bell and chime cables traced and pulled by the electrician late last week. Should be ding donging by the weekend. Last issue is that the electricians wired up our house to be "Telstra Velocity" ready, which drove us crazy. We had a bunch of loose cables hanging in the garage and we were like WTF do we do with this. Upon our electrical appointment they had asked us what our provider will be, we stated NBNCo and documented on our plans. Electrician inspected on Friday, confirmed that they were at fault. Came out Monday morning @ 7am with a beautiful Hills cabinet and sorted all antenna, network and phones cables which are now cleanly terminated and connected properly. Hats off to the electrician in sorted this out professionally. We now have our antenna cables routed correctly in the manhole and network connectivity to room with network port. NBN can now be accessed both hardwired and wirelessly now. Mind you, had to go through 3 antennas to get a decent signal. Realised that we need a signal booster to get the best signal. Which we now have and cheering. Should have some pics up soon we hope.
