Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 08, 2012 6:32 pm Hi guys, thought id better post now that ive read all 149 pages of new and old posts. So much handy info! We are building a detached dual occ in sutherland shire, a villina 28 and modified tiffany 3 bedder. To be honest, we have had great service to date, providing we keep on M's toes. We scored the mansion package for free, and due to M's mistake in putting a free mansion package in both tenders (we were only meant to recieve the deal foe one dwelling only), and half price ducted air con in both houses. Is anyone else building a dual occ with M? Id love to know how your timeframes are looking. So far this is how our story has been: 15/01/2012 Initial meeting with M 21/01/2012 Meeting with Draftsman 14/02/2012 Final concept plan emailed to us 16/02/2012 Confirmed and planner emailed to M 21/02/2012 File sent it to head office. 15/03/2012 Planners got our file back 10/04/2012 Plans and BASIX completed for approval Re: New member to the forum 2Apr 08, 2012 9:17 pm Hi - welcome to the forum. You should check out the Masterton thread (there are 3) which has loads of great info. We almost built with Masterton but went Custom in the end. We loved the Villina. They build good homes I think - good luck!
