Re: Building a Beautiful modified Coral Home. 27May 06, 2014 10:55 pm Hi all, hoping to get some opinions. We just stayed with standard grey mortar due to not wanting to pay upgrade costs but am so unsure. Were having stonewash brick with dark grey tiled roof and deep ocean garage. Does anyone have any opinion on colours. Thanks. J&J Building our Home on The Coast. Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55601 No longer our dream it's our reality!!! Re: Building a Beautiful modified Coral Home. 28May 15, 2014 11:55 am What did you decide jenm? I think the grey mortar will look fine. I also think it's natural to start second guessing your choices when it's all becoming real. They started cutting the block today, looks so different. We ended up going with the grey, really hoping it was the right decision. Ahhh so excited fingers crossed we made good decisions. Re: Building a Beautiful modified Coral Home. 30May 21, 2014 11:23 am We're 1 day away from building! Last week we had retaining walls done and yesterday the lot was pegged out. This is our modified Daydream 30. Garage is 2700mm height (lower pad to main house) which then you step up into the main house which has 2500mm Ensuite - single 600mm basin (vanity is actually longer than pictured, approx 2.2m) full length wall shower with seat (deleted the bath) Added enclosed wall/door to media and study and changed media windows Sliding door to master bedroom Our Plan https://www.flickr.com/photos/yazzie86/14047124267/ Coral Homes Daydream 30 *modified Gilston QLD Completion approx October 2014 Re: Building a Beautiful modified Coral Home. 31May 21, 2014 1:53 pm Looks good yaz! We're leaning strongly toward the Daydream 28, but with quite a few modifications - including moving the study up near Bed 1, but we have some issues with the pantry. Will be interested to follow along with your build - are you starting a build thread? How long has it taken you to get to this stage, if you don't mind me asking. We're looking at paying our initial deposit sometime soon. I'm thinking it'll take about six months to get to the actual building stage. Am I being optomistic?
