My wife gets annoyed with the power cable and the kids hate the noise of the normal vac, so thats why my wife wanted ducted vac. how many rooms youhave? is it 5 sockets enough? my friend's kids have a fear of the noise so they bought a robort vac cleaner which works very good on the timber floor. Re: Building the Sahara Q1 by Henley-CLADDING COMPLETE! 596Oct 27, 2012 1:03 pm hi, yes we have 42sq, 4 bedroom, theatre and study. 5 sockets is enough. They position the sockets when they install so that the hose has enough length to run the whole house. I actually just checked the tender it's a 12mt hose not 9mt Re: Building the Sahara Q1 by Henley-CLADDING COMPLETE! 597Oct 28, 2012 3:29 pm tengals hi guys, todays update, 1. brickies finished the feature column to the facade 2. the rear has been battened and prepared for the blueboard tomorrow 3. the house has had all the eaves installed 4. the evaporative cooling in installed and ducted 5. the central heating unit is installed and ducted 6. the power and electrical was roughed in today Wow. All went well, only a few minor things, nothing major at all, inspector told me its a good build and he is happy with it all. A couple of things were even fixed onsite whilst the inspection was going on. It took a little over 2 hours. Gave me a great chance to have a good chat to our SS. Nice bloke, totally accommodating etc. He informed me of a few things. 1. the insulation was already delivered and is being installed today. 2. plaster starts tomorrow. 3. lockup this week 4. kitchen goes in tuesday next week 5. rendering starts monday next week 6. stairs go in wednesday 7. fixout to be complete by mid november 8. painting shortly after 9. head office is pushing him to get us to handover BEFORE XMAS!
