Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Neighbour's tin roof causing glare 2Oct 19, 2012 9:16 pm me_me1983 Hi everyone, Just building a new house, and the neighbour has built a tin roof with glare coming off the sun. Anyone know if a tin roof fades over time? Just don't want to wear my sunnies everytime I go outside Same prob at my place where we are building. Do you know if its a colourbond colour or Zincalume not sure if spelt correctly. We had a Zincalume on our first home dont worry it does dull down. Not sure about the colourbond though. I think our new neighbours roof is the Surfmist colour. Re: Neighbour's tin roof causing glare 3Nov 04, 2012 3:10 pm I'm trying to rule out Surfmist for the same reason. It will settle, but in the meantime glare is immense. Which way is the house facing? I'm wondering whether north front-facing would be far worse than others; because some are glary much at all.
