What a handsome lil boy. would love to hear his stats... Frame looks awesome also, do you have to wait until next week for more progress? Jem's Custom build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=58630 Re: Our Sekisui House Meridian - Frame going up already!! 44Jan 17, 2013 3:41 pm It seems like the Christmas building break has finally passed! Not that we noticed it... we have been a little busy as you might expect I heard from neighbours that there have been tradies on site last week - earlier than expected. I think they finished off the wall frame and built the retaining wall between the house and the rainwater tank site. Got a call from our SS this morning, and everything is on full steam ahead Carpenters on site today 17 January putting up the roof trusses Plumber on site tomorrow roughing in House to be wrapped up by the end of next week / prior to the long weekend Colorbond roof and hot water system solar panels to be installed by the end of next week / prior to the long weekend Brickies scheduled to start the following week / after the long weekend As far as I know we don't have any brick or window deliveries yet but the windows were scheduled for delivery before the 25th and the bricks can't be too far away either. All going well it sounds like we won't be far away from lock up two weeks from now! We haven't been out to site since before Christmas but did get this sneak peak from the neighbour across the road today Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Tender /1/12 Contract 14/6/12 Planning 12/10/12 Site 23/10/12 Piers 27/11/12 Slab 12/12/12 Frame 15/12/12 Trusses 17/1/13 Roof 24/1/13 Bricks 13/2/13 Plaster 1/3/13 Re: Our Sekisui House Meridian - Frame going up already!! 45Jan 17, 2013 3:54 pm great progress they are really powering along Re: Our Sekisui House Meridian - Frame going up already!! 46Jan 17, 2013 7:28 pm Hi Ribbon. Your home sounds like it's coming along nicely! How has your overall experience been so far? We will have Sekisui take over our home completion as Procorp our original builder went into administration late last year. Re: Our Sekisui House Meridian - Frame going up already!! 49Jan 24, 2013 11:31 pm We had our very own "colorbond moment" today Except only one of the three of us was in his undies and he wasn't much interested in the roof just crying for mummy to feed him For those who love a trip down memory lane... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi0QexM5eKM The roof is about 90% finished. Very happy with our colour choice in "Dune". Fabulous baby shot too Re: Our Sekisui House Meridian - colorbond moment :) 53Feb 03, 2013 8:17 pm Well we didn't quite get bricked last week, but we surely MUST be getting bricked this week. Last week the house was wrapped, the windows installed, the electrical and plumbing rough ins completed and the frame and sidelights for the front door installed. Your lil one was about a kilo heavier than our lil pip squeak, she was 2.42kg.
House is looking fav too. It's soo nice to see the progress isn't it. Can't wait to see the finished brick work. Re: Our Sekisui House Meridian - bring on the bricks! 55Feb 04, 2013 6:07 pm Aw Jem! How heavy is your lil pip squeak now? My very average boy at birth has turned into a teeny tiny little baby. He's at something like the 5th percentile now. He lost a bit too much in the first week after birth and just doesn't stack the weight on fast - despite me feeding him often enough and having lots of wet nappies. I think he puts the energy into growing longer and being clever - his length is something like the 75th percentile and he was hitting some of the advanced two month milestones at one month! Funny little things these babies! In house news... we had four brickies arrive on site today! They said they should be done late Thursday or early Friday. Cannot wait to visit the site Friday afternoon! Brickies are scheduled to finish mid this week. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ On other fronts, more roughing in progress last week with the fire sprinklers being roughed in Thursday and Friday. All that is left of the rough-ins now is the air conditioning which is scheduled for this Friday. Its great to know they will all be complete by lock-up and won't be delaying us getting to internal linings. I'm hanging out to see how the spaces come together inside! These guys are very in-competitive and rip you off after the contract has been signed. There are delays from there mistakes and are never upfront with the things. My advise, get everything in written, donot trust their word. We are discussing plans with Meridian homes and it is shaping up nicely. Anyone has any experience to share? Have gone through forums but no recent feedback or experience found. 0 3617 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 14614 1 8167 |
