It was supposed to have a Horizon pull handle with a roller bolt latch as per the display home but apparently it wasn’t strong enough and the wind would blow it open. We were offered a free upgrade to the Omni Trilock and as you can see we accepted gratefully. Will email builders and see if they can help. Regards, Grumbles Re: Show us your Entrance Doors 30Sep 25, 2012 3:55 pm [quote="grumblebum54"]Here’s ours and hope you like it as much as we do!! What kind of tint is that and does it block the view from the outside completely?? We are having translucent glazing. Those with clear glass what are you doing for privacy? is it an issue? It's not a privacy or security concern for us; due to the layout of the house you can't really see anything. You can see the doors of the master bedroom, garage and theatre, but you can't see in them. We spent a lot of time at the displays just peering in the front door to work out if we'd need obscured glass Re: Show us your Entrance & Stacker Doors 35Sep 26, 2012 9:25 am Boosho - it's just a reflective house tint. You can see in if you come in and put your face up to glass Re: Show us your Entrance & Stacker Doors 36Sep 26, 2012 9:43 am Oh cool. Thanks. We are in a quiet cul-de-sac and we have trees and fences on all sides (except the front) so we have no issues with privacy. Even if someone did see through our front door they would only see the entrance anyway as there is a slope down to our house. Re: Show us your Entrance & Stacker Doors 40Sep 26, 2012 11:07 am LeanneR and marybond2012, The builders have told me it is a Merbau timber door with a few coats of clear stain. pakman The display home for our first build had a full glass door with clear sidelites and this was a privacy issue for us and had to be changed. My husband sleeps in the nud and has a tendency to wander to the kitchen during the night for a drink so we had a solid door with translucent sides as we didn’t want anyone to see his naked tattooed ar$e meandering down the hallway.
