Re: Building the Santorini MK 2 by Masterton Homes 76May 10, 2013 8:12 am Looks like the floor tiles are almost done. Edges and corners are what's left, then grouting. A quick photo from the outside through a window. At least that's our experience in this area. Same goes for Telstra. Connect a phone to the address now, and log a line fault once the LUKA box is installed on the side of the house under the fusebox. That'll save you weeks! This means we might have power during our PCI. hmm not unless you contact Beeman Communications and have them install it at your cost. At least that's our experience in this area. We have Beeman power connection in our tender already. I just need to organise Energy Australia to connect from the pole to the power lines. As to phone line, I thought the HUB box is where it gets terminated, and I just have to organise the line activation. I'll keep an eye for the LUKA box. Thanks for the tip Re: Building the Santorini MK 2 by Masterton Homes 80May 20, 2013 1:38 pm Vatche jo&waz Vatche We had our power poll installed last Thursday (9/5/13). We had Beeman doing the power pole installation also, and associated trenching to fuse-box. But that doesn't include the connection to the grid, which is an extra $800 or so, depending upon phase-type. Beeman also do the trench for Telstra and install the LUKA. Yep, re the phone line, definitely terminates in LUKA, same goes for Optus. And then it runs via CAT5a/CAT6 to home-hub. You may well find that they put in a central splitter in the LUKA, which, if Sentinel aren't on their toes, doesn't get wired through properly. I ended up getting a punchdown tool and fixing it myself.
