Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Help with Site Costs in derrimut Carli2!e & m3tr!c0n 24Mar 29, 2012 8:03 pm I still feel thats too much, if you get independed it will cost u a bit$$, not sure exacly. Why dont you go to a few different house builders and ask them how much for fixed site cost for your block and compare, cause see if a few are similar , find out who you next door built, i still think 33 way to much 88888 CBPH You are comparing land at North Epping to Derrimut? Yeah...site costs will never be the same... Why don't you ask the builder why site costs are so much and understand why? Derrimut area like Tarneit, Truganina etc is crap earth, it costs money to build on this unstable stuff that is full of rock. ye i did ask the builder and they said because my land is sloping they need to cut and fill by 100mm (because my land has a cut and fill of 400mm but they only cover 300mm so i have to pay the difference), use H class slabs plus $5000 for bushfire policy and temp fencing and so on.. but those are the major ones. They won't know exact untill they have soil test and survey... and that's gona cost money.... I asked my neighbor next to me and he only paid 10k without bushfire and the neighbor behind me paid $13k.. i don't see why the HUGE difference. Does anyone know where i can get my soil tested and survey independently? I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 8270 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 12249 Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering.
