Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 27, 2012 7:05 pm We have our handover inspection on Thursday (yay only 2 more days). I know that we will be doing a thorough check and looking for paint imperfections etc. is it fair to ask for the bricks to be cleaned again if we are not happy with the mortar still on the bricks or are we being too picky? Also how hard is it to get this off in sections between painted bagging ie is it likely to damage the bagging and then need this touched up? Re: Handover inspection 3Mar 28, 2012 4:57 am The mortar should be between the bricks not on them! When cleaning brick its normal to use an acid wash first, As long as the acid is ept of the bagging and the water blaster is pointed away from it that should be fine The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
