Congratulations!!!! How long since you went to their head office? We hadn't been since April last year and were like Woah!!!! Super spiffy!!! Have fun choosing colours!! Can't wait to see your moved in photos!!! Hmmm, I honestly can't remember the last time we went into head office, but I would say it was not long after pre-start. We used to live a couple of mins away from head office, so I would often drop all our variations off, but most times it was easier to send them via courier from work....so, I think it might be around March last year since the last we went in! I hear the new pre-start area is very nice indeed. I calculated how many days it has been since we first signed our O&A for the land, til when we get keys: 626 days...slightly epic! hahah. It's finally happening! Thanks Nicci, it was a little bit to upgrade the cornices....I think a bit over the 2k mark (but we have them throughout the entire house)...some builders throw them in for free, if you're lucky. Painting was an exhausting process...but we're so glad that we did it ourselves Took us about 6 days all up with just two of us...that was for sanding, sealer, patching and 2 coats. Anyhow, no more blabbering....enjoy http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/the_jjs/199169_10151344542743379_318587155_n_zpsb17ba667.jpg http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/the_jjs/WP_20130311_008_zps4e2c7a1e.jpg Getting stuck into it! http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/the_jjs/WP_20130312_003_zpsef42280a.jpg Freshly sealed walls with test patches to the right http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/the_jjs/WP_20130313_002_zps539480a4.jpg Master Bedroom in progress http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/the_jjs/WP_20130313_009_zps22eb6f6a.jpg Hallway in progress (bottom half will be a chair rail along middle and wall mouldings along the bottom....all painted in white) http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w504/the_jjs/WP_20130314_002_zpsb24b09a7.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Painting treat Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Massive hole in the ceiling for return air vent for the AC Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Guest room Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Colour on the walls is Dulux Silkwort...I spent so long deciding whether to go 50% or full strength...and in the end I told myself to stop being a scaredy cat and just do it 100%...not regretting my decision so far! We've got lots of nice white furniture, so it's keeping it quite fresh, rather than a dingy kind of grey. Love the subway tiles and the outdoor setting looks fab thinking about getting similar for us but we plan on eating outside in summer so this would mean eating out of laps which wouldn't be such a bad thing I guess..... I've written down the paint colour! I've got a sample pot of lexicon quarter and flooded gum (the free ones they did) but of those photos are anything to go by gut have to buy the silkwort. Only have a slab and already trying to pick paint colours! The outdoor setting looks stunning, a lovely place for a cold drink on a warm night Re: HomegroupWA in Aubin Grove - Moving in PROGRESS PICS! 479Mar 28, 2013 8:52 pm Wow! I love your taste - and I am so jealous of what you have created! Sigh... Maybe for my next house! I especially love the wall mouldings, front door and the subway tiles! Can I ask where you got your tiles from? I would love subway tiles but haven't seen them around? Re: HomegroupWA in Aubin Grove - Moving in PROGRESS PICS! 480Mar 28, 2013 10:37 pm That is an impressive feat in such short period of time, looks great nothing to do with salespeole. you'd do well to read and ccomprehend the post before bashing away at the keys with some negative comment again. 4 5063 8 3960 5 4920 |
