What a huge day.... I am pretty sure ALL the trades were at the house today.. at the same time!! Geez I have a good builder. He has been absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Painters, plasterers, gas guy, cabinetmakers, electrician, building crew, glazier and ME were hard at it today..... We now have all our towel rails, toilet roll holders and tap fittings installed, the electrician has installed all of the internal lights, light switches, power points and fans he has only a few external lights and power points to go, the plumber will be in over the next few days to do installation of toilets, shower heads and dishwasher as well as the sewer hook up. My builder will be personally vacuuming the house ready for the cleaners ready for us to be in by next weekend!! It will be done by this weekend but we will still be waiting on mirrors, wardrobe doors and shower doors.... and then aaaahhhhh it is ALL OVER ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: okjorg's build 1626May 01, 2013 4:50 am yay so close now so much happening in a week your color selections are awesome Re: okjorg's build 1627May 01, 2013 2:52 pm Next weekend ..... I think that is amazing and you definitely have a good builder. What is his name? H1 is great for telling people about good tradies and rewarding them. And for outing the baddies. I am so impressed with his crew, we will be throwing them a bbq on the deck on Friday afternoon!! Thanks again for all of your amazing input over the last year - I could never have done this without you guys - and that is no understatement... JODGE DEE SUNSHINE KIWI MCLAREN GOGO To just name a few, you have all been absolutely instrumental with this concept and this plan. The ideas and suggestions you have all brought forward have become folk law in our household. I can safely say if it weren't for you guys..... this build would be boring, dull and uninspired. So in other words we would not have HAD A CLUE!!!!!!! I can't wait to one day meet you all and show you our own piece of Australia.
