I know the cacky corkboard is not an ideal background.. but we are going the marble for the kitchen island bench top with the polar white for the kitchen island drawer fronts. Then the dark charcoal will be the rest of the bench tops AND drawer fronts. The aluminium look is for all kick boards. The glass splash back will be white and I'm thinking my "pop" colour for things like vases or pots on top of the gas cooker will be teal!!?? And that tile is the one we are using in all living areas and hallways!!! ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: okjorg's build 1551Mar 24, 2013 8:00 am Colour selections should come up a treat- splashback is on starfire glass isn't, so no green tinge? Re: okjorg's build 1553Mar 24, 2013 1:35 pm I am so glad you guys like my selections... I wasn't sure if that felspar shimmer would be too dark??? But I do think it will be a good contrast to the marble!! Yes it will be starfire glass, so definitely a white glossy splash back. I will be excited to see all of the pretties (as I've been calling them) go into the house now!!! I'm looking at getting a dining table made and I will be getting some replica Charles Eames chairs to go with it!! Other than that... we will have to get bits and pieces as we go slowly does it. ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: okjorg's build 1554Mar 24, 2013 10:09 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is the table I am having made in Recycled Oregon with the Charles Eames chairs ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: okjorg's build 1555Mar 24, 2013 10:11 pm Nice Very now with the Eames chairs. Dee.... that green stuff is doing MY HEAD IN!!!!! After all of this rain (nearly 3000mm this year already) the grass has just taken off!!!!! I've done a bit of brush cutting around the house and the lawnmower man is slashing the rest this afternoon.... so hopefully it will look a bit more presentable in the next photo On a happier note... all the staircases are in, the walls are finished and the builder is starting my wardrobes and linen cupboards!!! I am so happy we are wrapping this build up beautifully!!!! The kitchen has been measured up and I saw a sample of the felspar shimmer today - I AM SO EXCITED to see it in my kitchen - IT WILL LOOK AMAZING!!!! ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Thank you so much everyone.
