Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 5Mar 10, 2012 1:51 pm Ours have been going on for almost 18 months since we purchased the block. Cant really give you an accurate answer since the devloper has taken such a long time. We have made a few changes since the start of it all with the Sales Consultant and also when we did Pre-Start some time ago. I would say three to four weeks in drafting would be accurate. Which version are you building and whereabouts? Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 6Mar 10, 2012 2:04 pm hi paul, were building a sort of a version of the Entertainer, down in Lake Clifton. so we are also having to add on the cost of rainwater tank and ATU system, which is going to be about an extra $20000. i just cant wait to get going....this is a horrible stage of knowing that stuff is going on 'behind the scenes' but not being able to see anything for it . Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 7Mar 10, 2012 2:12 pm Make sure that when you get your drafting plans that you go over them. We found a few mistakes from what we wanted with the Sales Consultant what he designed and what came back from drafting. Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 8Mar 10, 2012 2:29 pm not only drafting plans but go through carefully every stage of build. We have so many issues - still going on. Insist on getting everything in writing. With us on many occassions different things have been done / tried to do than what is on plans / addenda. Blink and u will miss it, ours was 5 mths from slab to handover, had no issues from start to Finnish! Beautiful home and AWESOME SS drafting can take up to 4 weeks, check and double check your plans when they come back, we picked up a few Minor things (I think we had about 12 addenda's lol!!) our build was a relatively stress free process and would recommend redink to anyone!! All the prestart has finished and were all go for the build. (We only has about 10 changes as we really did a lot of work at pre-start meeting) Will keep you all posted as this build develops. Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 13Apr 18, 2012 10:58 am Good stuff Paul hope the build goes really smooth for you. We were wanting to go with RedInk originally but unfortunately they do no accept Keystart customers (keystart only pays 3 progress payments as opposed to the 5 that redink want) You're not too far from my block! Hopefully they will start the bricks soon. Funny enought the Red Ink home next door will have the same brikies for us. Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 17Feb 09, 2013 9:49 am We are building with REDINK and we have had very few issues at all, the sales person William Scates was excellent and really listened to us. Our site supervisor has been approachable and happy to assist whenever he can. We have had issues sorted out as we go so this helps reduce the amount of time at the end fixing up and mistakes etc. The only thing that could have been better was having the prestart sooner, so we could get moving a little earlier. But that is being picky!! Very Happy and hopefully we will be in sooner than we expected. Thanks REDINK!!! Re: Red Ink Home Avonlee Private Estate 18Feb 09, 2013 10:55 am Reding have been brilliant. Only thing is a couple of their trades need a good boot. We are looking to build with red ink too, the entertainer plan. For some reason I cant view your floor plan. Just wondered if you had any feedback / thoughts on the layout, how has it worked for you? I’m restoring all my 40yr old windows and I want to install seals around the casements. I’ve sanded back and oiled the frames with sikkens. My plan is to box up inside… 0 6506 Hi everyone, Looking for some advise. We are about to build an above ground pool in our backyard. There is a private sewer line running under the pool at 1.6m… 0 11731 If you already have a contract, is the inspection cost stated in there? If not they would be forced to issue you a variation which you could of course object to. 12 25848 |
