Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 08, 2012 5:44 pm We've just got back from the Brisbane Home Show having paid a substantial amount of money to Harvey Norman. However it was definitely worth it. We bought all our kitchen appliances there at much better pricing than the best online I could find - Harvey Norman are definitely interested in doing a deal at the show. Overall we achieved close to 10% discount compared to Appliances Online, with one item being 22% less. So we now have: Bosch Oven - Pyrolitic 8 function + telescopic rails Bosch 75cm 5-ring gas cooktop Bosch Fully Integrated dishwasher incl cutlery drawer Schweigen Canopy Rangehood (the pretty one with the blue light!) Fisher & Paykel French Door Fridge (with extra warranty - trust Bosch but not so sure about F&P) Total including delivery (they're holding them for up to 12 weeks) came to less than $9k which I'm pretty pleased about. So if you are in the market for electric appliances and can get to the show it's definitely worth giving them a try. The show runs until Sunday. I am just trying to decide on which fridge I want and was going to get Harvey Norman to give me a price (have been looking at appliances on line), hopefully my local HN is as generous as yours.
