Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 08, 2012 4:44 pm Hi We have had 56 days of rain on site since our frame went up, basically our home has not been dry since late November due to all the bad weather. I am concerned now about our top floor flooring, they say the flooring is rated for 3 months continual water, well in some spots it has not dried out at all, it has not been given a chance. We are still not fully sealed up yet thanks to the rain. What effect do you think this will have on our top floor flooring? I used to push the water out with a huge sweeper. What I suggest is ask your builder to do a proper sanding of the floor before the floor covering goes in.
