Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 392Apr 12, 2014 11:28 am hash_nanay We realized our portico need tiles but not sure what is the best. Wonder what others have chosen. much cheaper post handover. even SC won't recommend doing outdoor tiling with PD. Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 394Apr 12, 2014 8:36 pm tlblhayward Tiles on portico would be a slip hazard? Not if the slip rating suits the environment. But ratings are dependent also on shoes vs bare feet. And also dry vs wet. Yes, tiles can be a hazard, but textured tiles can reduce slip risks (tiles are used often around pools). Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 395Apr 13, 2014 10:05 am Went to the HIA Melbourne Home Show and found a supplier of Travertine, Bluestone and Granite. One of the stones we checked was $50 per sm if I remember correctly. This is something I'm interested as they are not polished or smooth as tiles. We also found lot of decking made of PVC or fibre mixed with wooden layer and alternative to real wood. Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 396Apr 15, 2014 11:05 pm Just curious to know if PD quote the stock code different to what's used by National Tiles. During our tile selection I've chosen a tile similar to below. This tile has the stock code MAXFL7201 at National Tiles while my tile selection with PD says it's MAXFL7272. Am I missing something here?
