Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 07, 2012 9:26 am Hi guys, Just wondering if its right for a builder to say they will not accept variation (adding electrical and TV points) to the drawings just after signing of the contract. I am willing to pay for the variations. Builder says 'you can do it yourself after we complete building your house' this is when they hand it over to me. How can one put in TV points in the walls after the construction is completed? Can anyone who has experienced this or something like this before help me with this issue? Abhishek Nichani. Saved myself about $150 I think compared to getting it done after hand over.
