But to answer your question, unless the bottom track is fully supported where the rollers bear [run] then you could have problems. What is the storey with the roof - I assume it's a scheduling stuff up. Peter Clarkson - AusDesign Australia www.ausdesign.com.au This information is intended to provide general information only. Naahhh - They are only expecting slashing rain from the horizontal direction, not from above Re: another overhang thread: not wood frame but the sliding 5Jun 10, 2010 12:49 am Hi I have the same issue like you, the frame of the sliding door at the left 10mm off from and the right side 20mm off from the slab, not sure have you figured out the issue? what the SS said to you? Re: another overhang thread: not wood frame but the sliding 6Jun 10, 2010 9:31 am Hi Oznow. I just wann confirm that it is just the Sliding door piece that is hanging of the slab, and not any part of the frame. You used the sliding door frame so this confuses me a bit. Basically if it is just the sliding door that is hanging from the slab this in normal. Once it is bricked up the bricks would go underneath track and hold it up. Re: another overhang thread: not wood frame but the sliding 10Jun 11, 2010 8:16 am Not quite getting your picture... the sliding door sill should rest a small amount on the slab along its length... the bit that sits out is supported once the bricks are in place.
