Browse Forums Building A New House Re: First time building, with Boutique 21Oct 14, 2012 7:07 pm hi padams when your bought your land was it already titled? or did you have to wait? reason Im asking is im trying to work out how long it will take the builder to start site works after settlements (which is the same time as title for us). They still will have to do soil tests and apply for permits etc after the land titles. We've been told our land is titling in November now... getting over the constant waiting... There's nothing better than an unbias eye whose incentive is solely to spot out defects on your behalf. Even though our inspector said our house was built well, it still had quite a few defects.
