Hi everyone
I stumbled across this forum a couple of weeks ago and decided that it was about time I posted
We are currently building our second house (both have been with Adenbrook) and are between the lockup and fixing stage. All architraves and skirtings are now in place, internal doors hung and the kitchen and bathroom cupboards are being delivered today. Weather permitting the painters start tomorrow.
So far we have been more than happy with the builders, with the exception of a few little things that the building supervisor has been prompt in correcting.
Here(http://www.adenbrookhomes.com.au/_db/house_models/pdf/Sandhurst_37.pdf) is the floorplan of our house. The couple of major changes we made included putting a sliding door in the back wall out from the rumpus, having stacker doors leading out to the alfresco and extending the under roof alfresco out to line up with the extreme roof line on the left (so overall the house will have a more rectangular shape).
We have used PGH Bathurst bricks and Colourbond Ironstone roofing, guttering and fascia. So far, we are very happy with the results. I'll try and post some pictures later.
The countdown is on until we can move into our lovely new house on almost two acres! Woohoo!
Look forward to sharing the rest of the journey with you all.

ETA: I'll add a couple of photos from the first stages and will come back in later in the week and post some more recent ones.
