So we are looking at builing with Hickinbotham (any feedback on them), but just wondering how much over what they say the house cost should we budget for all the extras etc?
Also what normally isnt included in this price?

How much to budget will depend very much on you and your personal circumstances. For instance, adding floor coverings can be anywhere from around $10 per sqm to hundreds of $s per sqm.
Similarly landscaping can be delayed or done yourself and can be done really cheaply or not. You may have a big or small block, long or short connections or maybe even a septic requirement.
Anything anyone says about this will likely be wild speculation and not worth a great deal. Perhaps you can be specific about what sort of things you want us to guestimate on.

Ok heres a list of extras im wondering what an average budget would be for these things in a 26sqm house?
Carpets (only to bedrooms and main living area)
Flooring (wondering of the difference on cost between tiles and wooden flooring and wether its easy to DIY?)
Ducted air con
Window fittings
Driveway (difference in cost of paving and concrete and is it east to DIY?) approx 6m long
Thats all that i can think of at the moment, but if anyone else can think of anything ive missed out can you add that in to.

The big item to consider is extra for the footings, this can go over big time if they hit rock or other unexpected obstacles.
