It seems to me with all the beautiful trees around your home will have a nature outlook from every window. Tranquil! Wishing you a speedy and smooth build Raz If you think you can, you can. Re: Good things come to those who wait (and wait!) 23Mar 25, 2008 12:49 pm Beautiful porta-loo......I wish we had one ![]() What a lovely lush setting you have....you must be so excited that it,s all going to happen soon ![]() Good luck with it all ![]() Mel Building on 9 acres Re: Good things come to those who wait (and wait!) 24Mar 26, 2008 4:06 pm Yay!
I knew only you guys would understand my port-a-loo excitement! It's a lot less green than it was before demolition but I'm surrounded by blue gums and as soon as I move in I'll get to work on my native gardens. I'm aiming for no lawn, no way I'm going to mow, I'd rather tend to the vegies and native gardens. My Site Supervisor called today to say my site prep is done, a week ahead of schedule! ![]() My retaining wall man is going to swing by tomorrow and have a look, and can start pretty much straight away. He still hasn't given me a quote yet (said I'd get it this afternoon). I'm nervous. If its under $5k I'll grumble, under $2k I'll dance the polka and somewhere in between I'll be happy enough. PS I did peek inside, the curiosity was too much, it was nice + clean because no workers had been onsite yet! ![]() PPS Raz Brittany and Melanie, I expect to see your port-a-loo pics too!! Site prep complete, one week early. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q9/louiserhodes/Building%20Process%20Pennant%20Hills/siteprepcomplete2.jpg Its exciting because I can see where the rooms will be! Still no joy with the retaining wall man though. It will go right up the left hand side, then across the back about 1/2 way. The concrete man is ready to go so as soon as the wall is in, he can go to work too!
