On Friday, 14 months after buying my land, I finally had my demolition day.

By the way, the newspaper is for my no dig weed free garden at the front. Takes ages to pull out the weeds then lay the newspaper, then put mulch on top but it works a treat -chemical free.

And I'm keeping the hollow tree trunks because there are possums in living there, and I'd rather them live there than in my new roof! I'm going to grow native hedging that will obscure the trunks.

So exciting! Peg out should be this week, then stage 1 site prep.
Then I need to put in the retaining wall down the left hand side (to protect the neighbours house) if the fencers ever get back to me with a quote
Then its all steam ahead!
