I've been waiting for nearly two weeks since then, still no replay, I wonder why could this happen(what might be the cause), and does entire estate mean just my land or the block? What can I do apart from waiting?
Thanks!

BUT, is it just a power issue or is the builder leaving the slab to "cure" before starting the frame? I'm sure this builder has come across this problem before, so talk to them & don't be afraid that they'll get angry, after all, it's YOUR house & YOUR mortgage repayments not his. If he stalls for a few weeks , it's no probs for him cos he's got your deposit. So I agree with other posters, I'd have a friendly discussion with him & it also wouldn't hurt to call the power co & see if what you're being told is true or not, that way, you'll get your info straight from the horse's mouth Thanks for your reply, now they told me the power is connected and framing will start tomorrow.
