So a phone call to the builder beside us and they said that the truck driver must of mistaken it for the wrong block.. considering that they are 2 different builders and that they have there ground preped for it. My first home was (and still is) only 16 square. We have lived here 11 years, and are only now building bigger (23square) and we have 2 children. I grew up in a 12 square home, 21 squares isn't really that small in my opinion. You should consider doing a blog for your build too, it's great fun and that way all your friends can see progress. There is a thread on here to add your blog address to as well. Good luck Re: Start of our journey 8Feb 26, 2012 2:06 pm Kris-Kate, Congratulations on starting your new adventure. I don't think that 21 squares is a small house at all - I grew up in a smaller home than that, and there are six 'kids' in my family All the best with your build, I hope it goes very smoothly for you. Can you charge the other builder rent for the stuff they dumped on your land??? Any advice on how to ensure the kit home granny flat that im thinking of buying will get council approval.
