Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Critique my plans please :) 21Feb 23, 2012 5:55 pm Hey Toughen, The premier is a great layout but unfortunately would not suit my block at all. It is a bit too wide. With open plan living these days and 4x2 houses being the norm, sometimes there seems like there is almost no difference between floorplans. There is only so many configurations you can do with a 4x2 before you exhaust the options! What made you change your mind about the premier? We are still working with the Premier but now considering flipping the rooms around so the master is at the back. Good luck. Re: Critique my plans please :) 23Mar 10, 2012 8:07 pm Hey Daedalus, Hopefully this response isn't too late but have you considered putting Bed2's robe on the wall adjoining the laundry? It would mean the door doesn't open directly into a wall, and the robe would also provide some sound insulation! Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6884 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
