ok since it was my birthday earlier this week the weekend and the 2 extra days I took off so I could get heaps done sort of turned in to about 2 1/4 days worth of work cause the family turned up for a few days. But I must say that I did have help with the lifting of the lintels and securing them in place! Thanks Bro!.... So Here is the pics for last weekend.... But I don't have any pics for you just yet. (thats the problem with being an owner builder during winter, you try and get as much work as you can while you still have light!) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Next is to finish putting the tiles back on and to rebuild the southern end of the roof so that it is a dutch gable instead of a normal gable. and replacing the sheeting on the north gable. Stairs should be have been started ths week while I'e been away and should be in by next week, which will help with the laying of the cement sheeting for the deck. after the north gable has been resheeted then the power can be conneted to the meter box. Although my electrical is getting done instages, the first being 3 phase mains to meter box and 15 amp circuit (and possible the 3 phase circuit as well) Re: New...ish house in Toowoomba! 44Aug 28, 2008 7:18 pm Ok people if you have been following this thread I've now moved it all t othe Owner Builder Forum where I think it's a little more appropriate.
