I have been doing a lot of reading recently on these forums and trying to get tips from people as to how we can save money during the building process. So far i have stumbled onto a couple but i would love to hear peoples thoughts and experiences. The ones i have so far are: Paint your own house. This alone can save you $10,000. Think about a building broker. They can shop around your plans and find the cheapest builder for you. Someone said they saved 20% on the quote they had.
