Mmm I think I'll have to get some of those speaker stands - they look very contemporary ![]() Paula Re: Our M3tric0n story 205Nov 22, 2008 5:14 pm Things are still happening around here, but at a slower pace than it once was. We bought them from a place in Hallam, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to name them on the internet but their initials stand for Selby Accoustics. We were served by an affable young chap called Matthew. I just caught up with this thread... Your house looks great from the street! I like all the colours! Very nice front landscaping too... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping! Re: Our M3tric0n story 217May 05, 2009 10:33 pm Hi Eager, what a lovely home you have. Just a question about your colorbong gates, were they very expensive?? Sorry to ask. It is just in the estate I am building in we have to have timber fencing and I was thinking of also having colorbond gates but was not sure how expensive they were or how they would look with timber, as everyone in the estate it seems has gone with a paling fence gate.. Cheers ![]() Re: Our M3tric0n story 218May 05, 2009 10:53 pm From memory, roughly about a grand, but that also included a small (1.8m) fence on the other side of the house. Apparently steel prices rose sharply soon after, but maybe they have fallen since? ![]() Just be aware that colourbond fences get pushed around by the wind a fair bit - I've reinforced mine by putting in an extra peg-in-the-ground thingy on the gate that originally didn't have one and I've also had to get the fence sections 're-adjusted'.
