Yep. Rear tap, all toilets, and laundry. That's now mine is, so I assume it's standard.

As far as i know. *laundry mean connection for washing machine Yep. Rear tap, all toilets, and laundry. That's now mine is, so I assume it's standard. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13422Feb 21, 2016 10:27 pm All the toilets are supplied by rain water, as is the laundry (for washing machine) and the rear tap. The one to the front has fresh water. That was the confusing bit for me. I wonder what the reason is? We're building the Saville20 corner alternative and did not make any major alterations except remove the column pillar to the alfresco. Glad to know we're in the same series as I have some questions. Will you get the aircon through EBH too? The sales rep told us to just do this post handover as we are working on a tight budget. @stephaniek88 Thanks for the info regarding the water tank. Did not know that this will be part of the tender too. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13427Feb 25, 2016 7:28 pm dyansky @Joie23 Our land will be registered in August. Did not know that this will be part of the tender too. We did get the air con. We lived in our town house without ducted and it was hell out west! We just couldn't deal with not having it when it's got this time so put it in. It was 11k for whole house. I didn't think that was too bad. We also got the Sky light to try bathroom because it's in the middle of the house. 50cm size 1.4k Door to ensuite, walk in robe, rumpus room and walk in pantry. Upgraded the windows to the fixed Windows that don't open at the back of the house - dining and lounge. Was as display home. $380 a window x2 Higher ceilings were around 4K Sink to the seperate toilet 1.4k All up it was 10.5k in upgrades plus the ducted air Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13428Mar 01, 2016 3:50 pm Here's a tip when selecting your tiles for the wet areas: it seems the slightly larger 30x30 tiles (instead of the standard 20x20 ones) are part of your allowance! The only thing you do have to account for is an extra underlay charge of 24.50 per m2, but that's only a small increase for all your wet areas (which are limited in m2 overall). Yes, your choices are a bit more limited but I personally think the larger tile looks a lot nicer. I only found out after my 2nd quote so it cost me 250 extra to get it changed. Don't make the same mistake! Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13430Mar 01, 2016 6:09 pm MBEDI79 Hi Guys, If someone suggests where can I get the Landscaping design for CDC approval and also suggest me the bush fire report & Acoustic report. thanks You should be able to get the landscape plan done through EBH (even if you don't plan on getting them to do landscaping). Not sure about the other report though as we didn't need one. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13432Mar 01, 2016 10:08 pm Do you need landscaping plan for CDC?! In our case, the estate developer wanted a plan, not for CDC as per my understanding. They have mentioned their requirements clearly and also provided a couple of examples and we made a basic one by ourself using mspaint. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13433Mar 01, 2016 10:21 pm Did a Google search on landscaping plan for CDC with holes council. Page 8 under site plan says "Proposed landscaping and treatment of the land (indicating plant types and their height and maturity)". Couldn't find more info!!? Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13438Mar 02, 2016 10:53 am @Lincoln35_mckinley: Unfortunately, we had to accept the change. There was nothing we could do as any alternative we came up with couldn't be met, mostly of constraints caused by regulations. In our case, the finished floor-to-floor height increased by 75mm due to the joist being 330mm compared to the standard 270mm. Instead of getting an extra tread, we proposed to raise the height of the risers by 5mm, but this wasn't allowed as the regulations limit riser height to 190mm. Increasing above that means you won't get your staircase certified. I also looked into adding an extra tread away from the landing, but in that case the minimum depth of the tread would be compromised. So yeah, we're stuck with the extra tread in the landing. That's a bit of a bugger and a real over sight by the builder :/ Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13440Mar 05, 2016 3:27 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We may have an issue. During electrical I opted for a PowerPoint at the fridge end of my kitchen bench. Now looking closer at the plans (and after seeing a new display home like ours), we think because there isn't a huge bench overhang, the power point might not be in the best placed spot... Question would be. How hard (and can we) would it be to change this. Also, where would be a suitable place for the PowerPoint. Ideally I would like a power point at that end for appliances/laptop etc as we don't have a power point at the opposite end... Edit to add: I did suggest to hubby that we could leave it there and change the white cover to black as it may blend in more with our cabinets. I built with EB back on 2009.
