Yes. My solicitor took care of it tho. I think it's about $130ish[/quote] Seriously? It’s usually only about $60 when you apply directly to council for it. I just usually charge my clients the cost price for this. I have built with Edenbrae and done the same. Thanks We are 6-8 weeks from completion. We were told no external electrician, unless they come in after handover for things like down lights etc. There wouldn't have been that much of a saving for us. I also would advise against external tilers cause if anything goes wrong behind the tiling and EBH have not provided it, then you will be chasing the tiler to redo the job. My advice is to just stick to the EBH contractors and have the peace of mind of waranty covering everything. There was not enough savings with any area for us to use external contractors, but we didn't upgrade to the same extent that other did. I absolutely agree. External tilers might be cheaper but if anything happens your not covered and your tiler would have gone AWOL! Usually tilers would want cash in hand and you won’t be able to find them afterwards. Me and wife was very disappointed with the choice of colors available in those ranges. My land developer guideline doesn't allow light face bricks and 75% of them are light colors and rest of them Red ( and sort of red, some mild dirty color). There is no choice of dark colors. I want to check if its good idea of to render the house post construction? I am thinking to use the brick came default and render the full house like 6 months later the construction. I am tight in budget at the moment and I need more to be spent on electrical and kitchen. Anyone tried post construction rendering? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Have you thought about upgrading your brick range? Might be worth it if you don’t want to spend a lot of money to render the home. Bricks will always last the test of time. Simple answer is no. E4 are considered as Neighbourhood Plans and are governed by a Management Statement. The statement makes it clear that no subdivision is allowed. We’ve just settled on an E4 block in North Kellyville. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 15180Nov 14, 2018 3:32 pm So I’m super confused with wall colours! I’m undecided between Gemini Silver and Winter Ice. We initially went with Marble Mist, but I think it’s got too much beige and our tiles/laminate are more grey. Any recommendations or guidance would be much appreciated! if you have any photos of the same wall colours, please do share Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I built with EB back on 2009.
