Our ss ended up just giving my wife a roll of tape for the paint defects He had no issues with anything and was pretty picky himself. Settlement is this friday and we can't wait, Only hint for pci is turn the lights on in each room, we noticed alot more bad paintwork with them on. Also look above door frames as you walk into a room, Our main bathroom had half a coat on it. There was a few mortar issues that are getting fixed aswell. Can't wait to see the pictures. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 2992Mar 04, 2013 7:13 pm cang Hi Guys, we had our contract presentation this morning and all went well. Paid our 5% and went down to HOG and booked in our first colour appoitment for next Monday. Finally the fun stuff begins One of the girls just emailed me the schedule for Day 1- WOW its going to be a full day Hi Cang, We also had a call this morning to book our first colour appt. but as we are on holidays it will not be until 22nd March - but my husband is spitting chips - we both cannot afford this much time, we both have extremely busy management positions and are at a loss why it takes so long for each appt and why so many days - we have built before and the process was nothing like this - I am afraid if we had known all this I think we would have looked elsewhere - oh well best thing I can do is have most everything chosen, that's where this forum helps heaps. It is still exciting though. Hi Bax, Awesome, our tender presenter this morning sent HOG and email while we were looking through our notes and we walked down afterwards hoping we can squeeze an appointment in hahahaha no luck though. We have mates building with other builders and their complete colour selections were done in a few hours, yeah I hate the waiting game too, but bright side is we can look at all the possible option and choices we have. Any advise for PCI, we are expecting PCI next week sometime? Did EB fix all the mortor and brick chip issues if you had any? PCI is getting delayed due to rains while driveway have to be done. Good luck for PCI. Hope you don't have too many issues so that you can get to settlement quickly. cang Hi Guys, we had our contract presentation this morning and all went well. Finally the fun stuff begins One of the girls just emailed me the schedule for Day 1- WOW its going to be a full day Good to hear that all went well with your contracts appointment. I can't get past how quick it is from your contract signing until your first HOG appointment. We had a wait a month to 6 weeks before our first HOG appointment and then another 3 weeks before we could see Di Lorenzo and the Electricals people. Contract appointment 4 weeks after tender on a Tuesday. HOG appointments on the Wednesday and Thursday of the same week. They were flexible when we asked them for the HOG dates during our tender. How exciting to know that construction will begin soon Wet area tiling started last Friday and will continue on throughout this week. Painting is due to start mid next week. Bit nervous about the painting as the last few comments about the quality of the paint work have not been encouraging... We will inspect the house once the electrical fitout is done so that we can check on the paint work and also make sure that all the multitude of powerpoints, data points, alarm sensors, etc etc etc have been installed in the house Slab – 31 Oct 2012 Frame - 15 Nov 2012 Bricks – 26 Nov 2012 Roof - 14 Jan 2013 Lock Up- 11 Feb 2013 PCI- 23rd May 2013 Settlement - 7th June 2013 Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 2999Mar 05, 2013 4:59 pm Just wondering if anyone wants a good place for shutters.?
