Hi swiftsport, Do you know who is supplying the windows/who supplied them..? For instance, if it was stegbar, they will be able to check your paperwork & provide you with the info if you give them a call (quote your lot number). I've dealt with them directly, & had great experiences with the Stegbar team (if it was them). All the best with it Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13887Oct 07, 2016 7:15 pm PixiGT swiftsport Is there a way to be sure builder has built home to Bal 12.5 rating example windows to be 4mm thick is there a way you can check? Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13888Oct 09, 2016 8:49 pm Miffy Would love to see your tiles Bruce !!! We are heading same way. I just do not like that there is not much information from the company on various selections they offer. Taking so many costly decisions in span of few hours is daunting. Hi Miffy, The people at Di Lorenzo have been extremely helpful. I'm not sure about the experience you had to date. Ask for Anna Roumpanis who is the Assistant Showroom Manager, she was great and even though we haven't got to our tiles as yet she paid heaps of attention to our needs. We have started a blog for the construction of our Waldorf 50 so please feel free to take a look. We will be meeting with James Treble who will be our interior designer on Thursday who will do our Day 1 appointment. And if yes, did you pay the builder directly or your fund had to organised through bank as progessive payment? Any info would be appreciated Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 13891Oct 10, 2016 4:49 pm Hello Everyone I am new to this site. We recently started our build with Eden Brae. We are doing KDR and building Heathcote 35. Site work has started last week with huge boulders dug out of the site. Here's hoping to share our journey and also to learn and get guidance from those who already started and those already enjoying their new home. Any info would be appreciated Hi There, The Post Contract Variation is done when all your colour selections, electrical, kitchen, tiles and carpet are all complete. The progressive payments will be re-structured and you will need to pay the balance of the 5% deposit For example House price is $100,000 at Contract stage, 5% is $5,000 and you spend $50,000 on post contract variations, then they will re-adjust your progress payments, however, you will need to pay $2,500 for the 5% of $50,000. Hope this helps you. You can pay your PCV in full to them once you are done with your upgrades or changes or pay 5% and the balance taken care by your bank. They are flexible either way. Hi Mike, Options were given by both the Tender and Contract presented as well as the CSO. You are allowed to make payments to Eden Brae directly so not sure where you got your info from. Who was your tender and contract presenter? I had Sara who has been at Eden Brae forever. I have finalised all my loan docs and don't want to waste another couple of weeks with bank again..
