during the tender stage , did you ask for eden brae to do your landscape plan, if so then the eco design will straightaway contact you once you sign the HIA Contract with them.
The ecodesign guys have called me within one week of the contract signing.
Hi
I am about to build Drysdale 27. I've got the tender sign on 29/6/15.
At the tender appointment, the present person has mentioned about the landscape plan, and that is cost me $800, so I told them to take it off the tender.
My question is : Is that landscape plan that important ? and what is it really for ?
Thanks guys
If your developer requires it, you will need to do the landscaping, often planned using a landscape planner says which tree has to go where..
In our tender it says under developer requirements, 'Provide a landscaping plan'. Surely having a display home in our estate would have made them known that it is not required in our estate. They could have made it 'optional' or skipped it, instead made it look like it is mandatory. We weren't told about the cost of the 'landscape planning' item for us to actually decide on it, while at the tender appointment. Have went back to developer on landscaping and found it is not required.
So, do your own bit of research. Go through the land contract if required. Our land contract said, we have to complete landscaping within 6 month of completing construction of the house. Something EBH failed to mention in their own interests obviously.
