Does anybody know what the wall between the vanity and toilet on the ensuite looks like, or a photo of said wall? Just curious as to how it will end up. Thanks I'm pretty sure that that panel is extra. I never removed it but I don't have it. I can't put my finger on the extra cost breakdown sheet for that house at the moment but if I remember correctly those panels were quite expensive. Sorry. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 5037May 22, 2013 9:20 pm lilysar zRoYz Just to explain there will be no damage to roof or insulation, the unit that is placed in roof is normally lifted through the hole that is cut for the return air grill. I'm not sure what system you might be referring to but this is the 13KW system that was installed in our roof cavity in the past week. The vent and grill area's are marked on the concrete, there is no way this unit would fit through the grill or the man hole's. They would have had to take the roof tiles off to get it in. http://www.flickr.com/photos/94665002@N05/8721745525/ My other concern was getting it done after the fact was issues with our 3 month guarantee period, we are getting a private inspection after we move in, around 6 weeks. We decided we would notice more things wrong once we were actually living in there and the contract allows for this. If we get other trades in before this happens they can always argue it was someone else's problem. The units are 99% of the time placed into roof space via the return air grill, see the end of unit that is how it is raised into roof space through return air grill which are the width of roof battens with an average length of 1000mm. Believe me it is how it is done & that unit would go up into the roof space that way, the transitions (fixed duct the flex duct is attached too) are installed when in roof space. The return air grill is where your filter is located. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 5038May 22, 2013 9:40 pm We signed our contract today!!!! So excited! Feels real now! I am a first time builder, and it is such an exciting stressful time but no thanks to everyones AMAZING BLOGS and wonderfuls posts has this process been made so much easier. So am building with EBH the Sheffield 25 with some wonderful amendments, think Carrie Bradshaw type walk in robe, ok not as extravagant but it will be huge. Have been thinking for the past 3 weeks on Essa Stone benchtops and wanted to grab peoples opinions. After calling up HOG and speaking to Kitchen Culture, i am no way prepared or ready to pay them over $4,000 to "upgrade" my benches to "Crystal Chalk" or whatever it's called, so was thinking about getting a quote from someone else who did my parents kitchen (still living with them FYI) but am a bit confused whether i should do it or not. Basically how would it work in terms of handover? Do i handover without bench tops? Will i get my temp occupancy cert? Would anyone recommend going independantly? Anyway look forward to your answers. Hello! We are also building the Sheffield 25.The numbers are growing! Let me know if I can help you at all. I have my first colour appointment tomorrow, so I'm not really much ahead of you.
