It must be really annoying. In my case, I moved my bricks and paves to the alfresco side. My SS seems OK with it. I did it on the weekend. I wasn't allowed to put them on the garage because of workplace safety reason. Building with EB - Foxley 30 @ The Ponds Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 4730May 11, 2013 11:22 pm 1sttime. Sorry to hear your bricks were stolen. We will be getting bricks for our letterbox and outside kitchen. I was quoted $770 for a pallet of vino bricks to be delivered. Are you able to get a quote for your bricks? after getting the quote you can decide if it is too expensive to order. we didn't have any bricks left over after our build so will be ordering a pallet to use. we figured that we are spending hundreds of thousands building a house that we will live in for many years so an extra thousand for bricks was worth the investment. Btw PGH will not deliver bricks if you order less than a pallet. I culled things in January and since I have started packing I am really thinking whether I will use some of these things ever again... The recycle bin is full, and doesnt get picked up until monday week. The ordinary bin is also full, but i have decided to leave that for food waste on Monday when i clean out my fridge... Still have heaps to discard. Hence I organised an aussie skip bag today... They are $230 delivered and picked up... I would organize another council clean up, but I hate all the scavengers going through my stuff, and I am teacher so I have decided to throw out some papers from my filing cabinet and resources, just don't want people to open up he garbage bags and then have it flying around my front yard, now that I have got it weeded and looking good again... Decided I am going to organize a painter for this place when I move out... I was going to come back after I move but I am over it... I want to enjoy my last weeks of long service leave enjoying my new house. We have had a council pick every month for the last 3 months and have another one booked.. I have culled everything i have carried with me for the last 15 years that i might just need, but now I don't care, I want everything to match... What are your bricks.. There is about half a pallet of 'Vino' ones at my place that I am sure will just get binned or stolen.. We have a letter box in our package... Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 4735May 12, 2013 11:14 pm You could always get other colour bricks and then render your letterbox - I've seen that done and it can look very nice. Maybe you could then paint it one of the other colours in your façade? For those building double storey how many weeks build is in your contract. We are building a Heathcote 35 with the extra 2m deal and the contract says 36 weeks. We have our meeting with EB this Thursday to sign our construction documents and the peg survey is booked in on Friday. Also a bit confused... when does your contract become effective ... is it 20 days from pegout? Also a bit confused... when does your contract become effective ... is it 20 days from pegout? For our Newport 40 with extra 2 m2 plus other changes/additions (roughly 45, I'd say) , the contract says 35 weeks. The contract starts from when they receive the pegout survey (working day after pegout so maybe the Monday for you). They have 20 days to get the pegout survey done.
