Lots more happening at the house today according to DH. I'm stuck at work so I have not even seen any of it yet. I'll have to wait til the weekend. The tiler does work sometimes on the weekend so hopefully he will this weekend, I can't wait to see it all with my own eyes. There were kitchen people installing the other cabinets, tilers, carpenters! Very busy. Can't believe how much has been done. Starting to wonder if we will finish earlier than we thought, yikkes! A good thing, just not quite ready for it yet. Anyway, we'll wait and see. Some more pics. Bathroom cabinets Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Feature tiles. Looks different to what we thought when they are on the wall compared to the sample you get to chose from. Spent ages deciding whether to have them horizontal or vertical. Eventually we decided vertical. Still getting used to it, hopefully it will grow on me. I hope we get a good SS too after this long admin journey so we can make up some time. Love your house looking great!! DH went up today, not surprised no one there, way too hot to work today. Any word on when you are starting mtjiputra? Watch out for the fence and loo to arrive, then you know it will happen very soon. We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! Still no definite date yet, signed on final variations last week and just waiting for construction plans to be drawn. I think this is the final step then our file moves to construction. When did you find out who your SS was? Is it before or after site scrap? Re: Building the Majestic 40 - Even more kitchen & bathroom 335Jan 18, 2013 10:38 pm Looking great! I love the idea of built in theatre room cabinet. I think we may end up doing that as well. I think this is the final step then our file moves to construction. When did you find out who your SS was? Is it before or after site scrap? Yes, final variations and constructions plans the last step. We only found out our SS after the slab was laid, which was about a week later when the frame started. We were not really told a date of our site scrap, but it happened 3 weeks after our construction certificate was issued. HomeAngels Looking great! I love the idea of built in theatre room cabinet. I think we may end up doing that as well. We decided to get a home theatre cabinet after seeing it in the display home. Really happy with it. We'll eventually paint the wall above the cabinet where the tv will go in a darker colour, just have to decide which one! We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! Only some of the ceilings have been done, so not really much to photograph yet. The tiler must have come back later in the week as the tiles are now grouted.........they look sooo much better. A couple more pics. Here are our home theatre doors, finally remembered to take a photo. The timber will be stained in a clear stain. I love your pull out bin. They're not cheap but totally worth it i reckon. You're well and truly in front of us now. Have you asked about a date yet? Doesn't look there's too much left to do. I wanted a taller one but that was really costly, so we went with the smaller one. I'm pretty sure they will connect someting to the door so the bin opens when we open the door. But if not, I'm sure bunnings will have something. We didn't speak to the SS this week, so hopefully next week we can touch base and get an estimate PCI date. Once the painting and remaining floor tiles are in I guess the rest is finishing touches such as lights & powerswitches, door handles, caesarstone benches, sinks, loo's, water tank etc etc. The build seems to be moving ahead quite quickly at the moment Hopefully it wil continue that way and not grind to a halt. We will touchbase with some real estate agents this week and plan the sale of our existing house. With the rate the house build is progressing we might have to list a bit earlier than we originally thought. In between all of that we are arranging blind & screen door/ flyscreen quotes, starting thinking about fencing, getting in touch with the pool people for landscaping contacts etc etc. So we are busy busy busy! We usually clean the carpet once a year but the last two we used did not do a great job of it. Can anyone recommend one? We are in south west Sydney area.
